Acts 9:21 Noticed Change

“All those who heard him were astonished and asked, Isn’t he the man who raised havoc in Jerusalem among those who call on this name? And hasn’t he come here to take them as prisoners to the chief priests?” Acts 9:21

Saul had been set out to destroy all the Christians in Damascus, yet, God had other plans for him. Once God got his attention and he had a direct confrontation with Jesus, Saul was changed. He immediately set to work for Jesus. He did so with such enthusiasm that the people noticed there was something different about him. Saul did not do it in secret. As zealous as he was against Jesus, he was now zealous for Jesus.

Often when people give their lives to Jesus, they are doing it just in word. They do not have actions to follow-up what their words are saying. Many people are active Christians just on Sunday or when around the pastor. There is no real change in their lives.

Do not be the type of person who holds their Christian belief as something personal and just for yourself. Being a Christian is not a private thing. Jesus was very public about who He was. The disciples were very public about who Jesus was.

When you come to Jesus, there should be such a change in your life that people who knew you before will notice it. You must become a new creation in Jesus. This new creation is a new person.

You need to become a person who is sold out to Jesus and wants everyone else to be sold out also. Make a public proclamation about who Jesus is and what He has done for you. Do it loud enough that people will know that there has been a change in you.

Have the people start asking the questions about your life. When they do that it opens the door for you to tell them about Jesus. Make a difference in this world by telling others about Jesus. Do it so much that the world will want to get rid of you. See what God can do through you.

I pray today that Jesus will be a part of every area of your life; that you will live for Jesus so much that the world will notice; that Jesus will change you from the inside out; that Jesus will give you His boldness to be His witness; and that Jesus will draw many to Himself through you.
